I haven't been blogging much because I have been working on moving everything to a brand new home!
So if you subscribe to my old blog....you will need to subscribe to our new blog now! You can do that on our brand new website! Glimpses of Faith and Struggles.
The website is not complete. It will be changing some as I make improvements to it. But it is usable. And I can now blog again! My old blogs still don't have their pictures but I will eventually get the pictures all reinserted. It's a process! But I couldn't quit blogging while I found time to make those updates!
We have shared our lives via a blog for quite some time now! You have followed our lives through pictures and words. Now, we are taking another step. We are stepping out in obedience and beginning to share our story in person! Now that....is a lot more difficult!! We're not hiding behind a computer screen at that point!
For several years now, we have both felt disqualified to do anything. But what God has been teaching us is that it is in our brokenness that He wants to use us. We don't have to wait to have our lives put together, we don't have to wait until we have less stress, etc. God wants to use us exactly where we are. And we want to allow God to use our brokenness to bring comfort and peace to others! We are broken. We do struggle. Our faith has grown. Our lives have been forever changed. We are confident that God is in control of all things and He is in control of the circumstances of our lives.
So this blog address change is much more than an address change. It's a complete move! It is a move from one address to another address on the internet. However, it is a move in our hearts as well. It is a stepping out of our comfort zone and allowing God to direct our paths and use us as He desires. It is a move from struggling with our faith to walking in our faith. It is a move from believing we were disqualified because we were broken to believing that even in our brokenness God will use us.
There is freedom in surrender. What is God going to do with our story? We have no clue! But we are excited to see what He does as we are obedient to Him!
